I am not a big fan of the Caribbean as I am usually bored and not a beach person. However, this trip will take in 5 countries.
I could hardly sleep. I ate too rich a dinner at Dirty French the duck and potato purée. Barley and hour of sleep, I headed to the airport with trusty but expensive Legends Limo service.
I booked my JetBlue flight with points and go exit row seat. JetBlue is an excellent airline. I wish they flew to Europe. The four hours were not a problem as the seat was comfortable.
I landed in St Lucia and was surprised by the efficiency of my taxi there waiting for me.
I checked into the Aupic Paraside Hotel. Paradise is a loose description but changed my room to a higher floor and balcony for only $10 a night. The hotel is spotless, the people wonderful and the room good with excellent WiFi, A/C and plenty of light.
Having not slept, I spent the day relaxing in the room and ate at the hotel as well.
